Weekend Snow Clearing
If the week your team has consessions, it is your teams responsability to be available for snow removal on the outdoor rinks and community rink. We must keep the rinks avilable for the kids so that they can get in there hours for the banner program. We also have an agreement with the City to maintain and have available a community rink. You will be responsable for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning snow removal, flooding or Zamboni the ice if needed, and have someone available to close and lock up warming shack and shut of lights Friday and Saturday nights at 9:00. OUTDOOR ICE MAINTENANCE
Please remember that ice maintenance is not only flooding rinks but also removing snow. If your night lands on a night after a snow, please start removing snow off rinks with the John Deere and/or the snow blower. The only way our children get to practice every week, is if we take care of these rinks for them. Also please remember that we also have to maintain the Community Rink and not just the Hockey Rinks. We have told the City of Proctor and the County Fair Board that we will maintain a Community Rink and we need to honor that. Thank you so much for volunteering your time to take care of these rinks. Any time other than your scheduled time that you can help out (on the weekend for example) please just go for it and help get them cleared.
